Wilma M. Lingg, 85, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care Thursday, December 24, 2009 at the Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village.
Born December 26, 1923 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Ellis R. and Margaret Brant Dubbs. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lester E. Dubs and William Baker.
Wilma was a member of the Eichelberger High School, Class of 1942, and St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. She was employed as a housekeeper for Dr. & Mrs. George Thomassy for 23 years, and later for J. William Warehime until her retirement in 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara K. Naill of Hanover; a son, Michael H. Lingg of Williamsport, PA; one step-brother, Raymond Dubs; two step-sisters, Delores Small and Pearl Sauble; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
