William Charles Wheeler
William Charles Wheeler, Jr., 75, of Hanover, died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Hanover Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born on March 7, 1939 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William C. Wheeler, Sr. and Blanche Irene Wheeler and husband of the late Kathleen Wilhelm Wheeler. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Bettie Irene Chesnut.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and spent 27 years of employment with Pimlico Race Course before his retirement.
He is survived by his loving companion, Marjory Behl of Hanover and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am Wednesday at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will follow in Forest Ridge Cemetery, 17700 Foreston Rd, Upperco, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
