William F. McMaster, 59, of East Berlin passed away unexpectedly, Sunday January 20, 2013 at Hanover Hospital.
Born November 28, 1953 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Curvin J. and Louise C Reese McMaster, and was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald J. McMaster.
Mr. McMaster was a maintenance manager at Lake Meade for the last 30 years. He loved hunting, four wheeling, and being an outdoor sports man. He enjoyed playing cards with friends and family and he was an avid poker player. He was also a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church of Hanover and the New Oxford Social Club.
Surviving are his two sons, Adam McMaster of New Oxford and Brandon McMaster of York; his brothers, Greg and Dan McMaster of Hampton; his sisters, Deb Brillhart and her husband, Frank, of Spring Grove, and Pam McMaster of Wichita, Kansas; one grandson, Elton; two nephews and one niece.
The funeral service will be held at 10am Saturday January 26, 2013 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA 17331, with Deacon Thomas Aumen officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery with military honors rendered by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday January 25, 2013 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
