William C. Eline

William C. Eline, 89, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Spiritrust Lutheran, The Village at Utz Terrace.

Born on October 25, 1934 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Curtis David and Romaine Arlene Mathias Eline. He was also preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years B. Rosemary Eline; and a brother, Robert Eline. William was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Hanover Foods. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, the BPO Elks Hanover 763, and enjoyed puzzles and bowling.

Survivors include his two sons, Gregory M. Eline and his wife, Wendy, of Hanover, and Troy W. Eline and his wife, Susan, of Spring Grove; three grandsons, Sean Eline and his wife, Jaclyn, Jim Miller and his wife, Amber, and Chad Eline and his wife, Christy; four great grandchildren, Lucas, Brooklyn, and Aspen Eline, and Lexie and Gavin Miller; and a sister, Shirley Bankert.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Marburg Memorial Gardens, 2510 Grandview Road, Hanover with military honors being rendered by the Hanover Allied Veteran Honor Guard.
