Wendy E. Gouker

Wendy E. Gouker, 63, of Elloree, SC, formerly of Littlestown, PA, beloved wife of Daniel L. Gouker, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at her home.

Born on Saturday, May 27, 1961 in Hanover, she was a daughter of Jackie Laughman and Harriet Bohrer Laughman. She was preceded in death by her infant baby boy, Eric. Wendy was a 1979 graduate of New Oxford High School and worked for Hanover Direct for 27 years and then worked for Aquaphoenix until she retired in 2023. She was an avid book reader who loved the beach, spending time with her family, and crafting. Wendy loved the Southern Hospitality and fulfilled her dream of retiring in South Carolina, if only for a short time. She loved the Christmas season, especially baking cookies with her grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 44 years, are two daughters, Amanda Baker and her spouse, William, of East Berlin, and Aimee Hale and her spouse, Jeremy, of York Haven, six grandchildren, Cassidy Noble, Kaylee Baker, Makenna Dunkin, Ryan Dunkin, Landon Hale, and Rowen Hale; sister, Karen Thomas; brothers, Jack and Chad Laughman; and many nieces and nephews and loved ones.

A celebration of life will be held at 5::30 PM on Saturday January 18, 2025 at The Lake Club, 2028 Lake Club Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Joey L. Luck serving as certified celebrant.
