Wayne A. Zartman, 65, of New Oxford, beloved husband of Matilda “Tilly” Tyler Zartman, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, April 11, 2016 at his home.
Born on Friday, March 16, 1951 in Hanover, he was a son of Kathleen Caler Zartman of Hanover and the late Raymond E. Zartman. He was a 1969 graduate of Hanover High School and retired in 2013 from the former Hanover Wire Cloth after more than 42 years of service. Wayne was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and had been very active with the Boy Scouts of America.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of nearly 34 years, is his adopted daughter, Crista Zartman of New Oxford; a son, Paul Zartman and his wife, Elizabeth, of Hanover; and two grandsons, Devin and Caleb Leatherman.
A memorial service will be held at 6 pm Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Grace United Church of Christ, 100 Fourth Street, Hanover with The Rev. Dr. Bruce P. Bouchard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Hanover and Spring Grove, 440 N. Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17731.om
