Warren T. Becker, 92, of East Berlin, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at his home.
Born on Friday, November 13, 1931 in Hanover, he was a son of the late George Henry Becker and Mildred Catherine Sipling Becker. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Hilda D. Markle Becker, who died in 2010; an infant daughter, Yvonne Eileen Becker; siblings, Mildred, Evelyn, Donald, George and John; and a daughter-in-law, Claudette Becker. Warren proudly served his country in the US Air Force and later was a master stone mason and builder in the Hanover area for most of his working career. He enjoyed gardening and fishing, but most of all, spending time with his family.
Survivors include three children, Warren T. Becker, Jr. of Abbottstown, Ralph E. Becker and his wife, Robin, of Hanover, and Coleen D. Dominguez and her husband, Arthur, of East Berlin; siblings, Gloria Hooper, Dolores Martz, both of Hanover, Rosemary Frey of Dover, Stanley Becker of Spring Grove, Barry Becker of Bendersville, Barbara Becker of Hanover, James Becker and Russel Becker, both of Spring Grove; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on October 19, 2024 at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Avenue in Hanover with Pastor Dominic Aquilino officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Abbottstown. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
