On September 19, 2024, Vincent “Vinnie” Anthony Geppi, Jr., passed away at home and went to be with his wife, Loretta May; son, Joe; and parents, Vincent and Louise.
Survivors include his son, Vincent “Tony” Geppi, III and his fiancée, Jenny; granddaughters, Brittney, Madyson, Jayden, Letty, Kya and River; step-grandsons, Austin, Bubba and Dillon; his daughter, Angie Davis and her husband, Calvin; grandson, Joey; granddaughters, Ashley and Kiersten; and great-granddaughters, Lakelynn, Skylar and Nova.
Vincent retired from Giant after 33 years of service. You could always find him at the American Legion (The Club) on Friday nights listening to music and playing Bingo. Chick-fil-A was one of his favorite places to go for breakfast and meet up with some of his closest friends. No matter where you went, everyone knew Vinnie. He enjoyed collecting Zippo lighters, riding around and eating crabs with his buddies, but he loved just sitting at the table with his sidekick, Medusa.
A private service will be held.
The family wants to give a “big thank you” to two of his closest friends, Joyce and Carol, who always stopped by to check on him. They also want to express their appreciation to the VNA Hospice. Sid and Monica were always welcome and could be counted on to get him to smile.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
