Victoria A. "Vicky" Mummert

Victoria “Vicky” Mummert, 72, of Hanover, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at her home.

Born on Saturday, June 10, 1950 in Coudersport, PA, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Jean M. Warburton Sneeringer. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Gregory A. Mummert, Sr.; and a brother, David P. Sneeringer.

Vicky was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School and also was a member at St. Vincent de Paul Church. She loved taking walks, naps, and being with her entire family. Vicky enjoyed her time working at Hanover Street Elementary, St Joseph School, and ANB Bank in Colorado Springs.

Survivors include three children, Gregory A. Mummert, Jr. and his wife, Anna, Jennifer C. Mummert and her companion, Shawn Riley, and Erica L. Valentin and her husband, German L.; four grandchildren, Samantha J. Schmidt and her husband, Greg, Lauryn R. Yealy, Levi S.J Mummert, and Luke A.L Mummert; three great grandchildren, Caylee J., Ava M., and Maverick E. Schmidt; five siblings, James E. Sneeringer, Jr., Diane Brunetti, Mary Sneeringer- Pitt, Jean C. Laughman, and Peter M. Sneeringer; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11 AM at St Vincent de Paul Church 220 Third Street, Hanover, PA 17331 by The Rev. Michael P. Reid II officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass. Burial will be in St. Vincent's cemetery.
