Treva M. Myers, 70, of Spring Grove, beloved wife of Larry E. Myers, went into the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at her home.
Born on Monday, September 15, 1947 in Brogue, she was a daughter of the late Cyrus and Grace Lehman Swope. In 1965, she graduated from Red Lion High School and later worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse until she retired from Main Street Family Medicine in Spring Grove in 2012. Treva was a member of Calvary Bible Church, where she was involved in Many activities within the church. She was also a member of the Windy Hill Retirement Center in Spring Grove, where she taught an exercise class for several years. Her greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, of 24 years, are two daughters, Angie Fauth and her husband, Jack, of Lancaster and Teresa Kaylor and her husband, Hunter, of Nevada; a step-son, Glen Myers and his wife, Becky, of Spring Grove; seven grandchildren, Jared, Keri, Grace, Seth, Sara and Holly Myers, and Kaylee Fauth; three sisters, Arlene Hanes, Lois Miller and Thelma Gemmill; and two brothers, Merle and Carl Swope. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte Zink and Miriam Haugh; and six brothers, Dale Kenneth, John, Clyde, Elwood and Lester Swope.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Friday, March 23, 2018 at Calvary Bible Church with Pastor David Hockman and Pastor Dan Dellosso officiating. Burial will follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at viewings to be held from 5 to 7 pm Thursday at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover and 10 to 11 am Friday at the church.
