Tina M. Rodgers, 49, of Spring Grove, departed this life on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at her home.
Born on Saturday, August 7, 1965, in Hanover, she was the daughter of Catherine “Sis” Rhodes of Hanover and the late Carl J. Rhodes. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Rhodes.
A 1983 graduate of Hanover Senior High School, she received her Associate’s Degree in Business Management from the Consolidated School of Business in 1997. She was employed as the deli manager of Rutter’s in Abbottstown. Ms. Rodgers was a member of the Hanover Loyal Order of Moose #227 Ladies Auxiliary and was an avid reader. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating.
Survivors include three children; Chelsy M. Rodgers, Arthur E. Robinson, III and Carly E. Rodgers; her fiancé, Chris A. Martin; eight siblings; Susan A. Rohrer, Charles E. Rhodes, Roy L. “Bo” Rhodes, Carl J. Rhodes, Rachel L. Maddox, Catherine A. Nye, Douglas A. Rhodes and Bernadette L. Mummert; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331 with The Rev. Michael Forbes officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fresh Air Fund, 633 3rd Avenue, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10017.
