Timothy Aaron Dague, 34, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at his home following a lifelong battle with heart disease.
Born on Thursday, December 15, 1983 in Gettysburg, he was a son of Steven Victor Dague of Littlestown and Helen T. Weaver of Hanover. A 2002 graduate of South Western High School, he received an Associate’s Degree in Electronics from YTI Career Institute in York in 2004. An employee of Giant Foods on Eisenhower Drive in Hanover, he was artistic, and enjoyed hiking and photography. Tim will be long remembered as being a loving father.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, is a son, Myles Danger Dague of the home; a brother, Jeremy Weaver and his wife, Karen, of New Oxford; a sister, Diana Dunlap and her husband, Kenneth, of Gettysburg; one step-sister, Deanna Giffin and her husband, Jake, of Elverson; two step-brothers, Josh Wheeler of Littlestown and Jason Wheeler and his wife, Anne, who is currently stationed in Guam; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Cynthia Dague; maternal grandmother, Catherine Weaver; and paternal grandmother, Margaret Dague.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church, 200 Frederick Street, Hanover, with The Rev. Joshua N. Rhone officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to the family to help care for Myles.
