Thomas Michael Yosick, 81, beloved husband of Doris Dashiell Evans Yosick of Hanover, PA entered into God's eternal care November 4, 2022.

Born November 21, 1940 in Shelby, Ohio, he was the youngest son of the late Frank and Lillian Yosick. He was predeceased by his first wife of 49 years, Janice Sullivan Yosick; his daughter, Laurie A. Yosick; brothers, John Yosick, Robert Yosick, Kenneth Yosick, Dennis Yosick; and sisters Patricia Lysinger and Sister Martha Ann Yosick.

Surviving, in addition to Doris, his wife of ten years, is a daughter, Lynn Barnard and her husband,David, and grandchildren Matthew Barnard and his wife, Danielle, Evan Barnard, Heather Ellis, Dawn Ellis, Troy Overcast, Angela Arvelo and Alexander Arvelo; great grandchildren, Victoria Ellis, Mark Krenzel, Vincent Ellis, Cody Brass, Justin Brass, Isiah Vazquez-Arvelo; and great great granddaughters Amelia and Camila Brown. He is also survived by a brother, Paul Yosick and his wife, Rosanna; and sisters, Sister Irene Yosick and Mrs. Joan Courtney; as well as stepchildren, Michael Evans and his wife, Lisa, and Beth Wisner and her husband, Wade; and stepgrandchildren, Ben and Kate Wisner.

After graduating from Shelby High School in Ohio, Mr. Yosick served in the United States Marine Corps where he was assigned to the Naval Security Group at the National Security Agency. He transitioned to his civilian career at the NSA and spent three decades in Communications Security before retiring in 1992. During his career, he served two tours of duty at GCHQ in England, during which time he and his family traveled extensively through Europe. He received two Meritorious Civilian Service Awards and proudly served in Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover and had previously served as an usher and lector at Saint Louis Catholic Church in Clarksville, MD. He was a Red Cross volunteer and member of the Knights of Columbus. He and his second wife Doris enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends at Homewood at Plum Creek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 10, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road in Hanover with The Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery with military honors being rendered by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Fund of Homewood at Plum Creek, 425 Westminster Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331 or the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation, 6700 Alexander Bell Drive, Columbia, MD 21046.
