Thomas E. "Tom" Noel

Thomas E. “Tom” Noel, 73, of Hanover, loving husband of Pam Folmer Noel, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his home.

Born on Thursday, September 15, 1949 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Bernard J. Noel, Jr. and Janet Bair Noel. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Noel; and an infant great-grandson, Adrian John Culp. A 1967 graduate of South Western High School, he retired in 2016 from ESAB Welding & Cutting Products after 46 years of service. Tom was a member of the Hanover Eagles Aerie #1406 and enjoyed reading, playing the guitar, traveling with Pam and vacationing in Delaware.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, he is survived by two sons, Douglas and Ryan Noel; a granddaughter, Brittany Culp; a brother, Terry Noel and his wife, Wendy, all of Hanover; a sister, Carolyn Mallory of New Oxford; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Trinity United Church of Christ in Hanover with The Rev. Dr. Kim Blocher officiating. The family will receive at the church one hour prior to the service.
