Thomas Hugh Darragh, 61, of Hanover, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at his home following a long battle with cancer.
Born on Saturday, January 30, 1954 in Washington, DC, Thomas was a son of Dolores A. Darragh and the late Hugh M. Darragh. A former resident of Montgomery County, MD, he was the oldest of six children and was a Montgomery County firefighter. Thomas worked as a building restoration consultant and loved sports, especially hockey. He dreamed of retiring and spending all his time on the beach with his toes in the sand and a book in his hand. Tom will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend to many.
Survivors include his wife Charmaine Darragh; five children, Matthew, Brian, Amanda, Michael, and Christopher; and eleven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 4, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1170 Kohler Mill Road, New Oxford, PA 17350.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Hanover and Spring Grove, 440 N. Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
