Theresa C. Hartlaub
Theresa C. Hartlaub, 73, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care Friday, February 28, 2014 at Hanover Hospital.
Born on Sunday, December 29, 1940 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Violet M. Weaver Sanders. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a housekeeper for many years. Theresa enjoyed listening to country music and going to concerts, but most of all she took great pleasure in spending time with her youngest daughter.
Survivors include four daughters, Sherry Hartlaub Templeton, Denise Hartlaub Trimmer, both of Hanover, Jill Hartlaub Wintrode of Georgia, and Jan Lynn Hartlaub of Hanover; two brothers, Kenneth F. Sanders of East Berlin and Thomas P. Sanders of Hendersonville, TN; two sisters, Gwendolyn M. Sanders Strausbaugh and Joan P. Sanders O’Donnell both of Hanover; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Gloria Trish, Rosalie Yingling and Mary G. Sanders.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with The Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Annunciation BVM Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 10 to 11 am Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Avenue, York, PA 17403 or to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
