Theo Silas Crew

Theo Silas Crew, infant son of John and Tyler Crew of Hanover, died shortly after his birth on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at UPMC Memorial in York.

Theo means “God’s gift” and Silas means “peace” or “tranquility”. Silas can also be derived from the Biblical word meaning “three” or “the third”, in which Theo was a very special third son to John and Tyler.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Cal; his maternal grandparents, Heather and Chris Ladd and maternal grandfather, Les Cole, all of Colorado; paternal grandparents, Kathy and Dan Crew of Pennsylvania; maternal great-grandparents, Susan and Steve Moskal and Karen and Stan Schmidt of Colorado; aunts and uncle, Kaelyn and Megan Crew of Pennsylvania and Cody Ladd of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Jude, who miscarried.
