Thelma H. Bollinger, 99, of New Oxford, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday June 12, 2016 at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community.
Born on Monday, October 23, 1916 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Grover C. and Lulu O. Spangler Hesson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Bollinger, who died in 1999; a brother, Clyde Hesson; and one sister, Louise Bemiller.
A graduate of Eichelberger High School in 1934, Thelma lived in Baltimore, MD for 34 years working at Remington Rand and F.A. O’Toole Office Systems until her retirement. In 1984, she moved back to New Oxford and had been a resident at Cross Keys Village for the last 32 years. She had been a member of the former Lohr’s Memorial United Methodist Church and was a current member of the Faith Community Church at the Brethren Home.
Survivors include a niece, Brenda A. Leese and her husband, Laverne, formerly of Littlestown; and several nieces and nephews from the family of Clyde Hesson.
As per her wishes, a private burial is planned.
