Ted Culp III, 82, of Abbottstown, beloved husband of Barbara F. Ruppert Culp, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at his home.
Born on Saturday, February 10, 1940 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Theodore E. Jr. and Mary Rutters Culp. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jason Culp. Ted was a veteran of the United States Army, a graduate of Eichelberger High School, and a member of the York - Adams Game and Fish Association. He was employed as a service technician for Sears until his retirement. Ted loved to go hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved to take care of his wife and children. He will be remembered as a great and wonderful man.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 56 years are three children, Wendy Miller and her husband, Paul, Ted Culp IV and his wife, Wendy, and Stacy Culp; six grandchildren, Aaron Culp and his wife, Katie, Samantha Beaver and her husband, Tony, Ashley Speelman and her husband, Matt, Sabrina Ankney and her companion, Chris Windsor, Jessica Culp, and Jon Ankney; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Michael Culp; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11 AM at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc 311 Broadway. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
