Tammy Lee Bair, 43, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born on January 30, 1968 in Hanover, she was the daughter of Joseph Bair, Sr. and Sharon Livelsberger Bair of Hanover. She was a 1987 graduate of South West High School and was employed as a CNA by Hanover Hall and the Willows Personal Care Home for several years. She later was employed at the salon at Wal-Mart before finding the job that she enjoyed the most which was tending bars in the area.
She had a tender heart for the elderly and could often be found at the American Legion or the Council of Churches making a new friend or sharing a laugh. She was devoted to her family and spent hours playing with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her four children, Katie Forbes and her companion Shane Calp of Hanover, Kayla Keeter and her husband, Joshua, and Steven Forbes, Jr. and Karli Forbes, both of Hanover; grandchildren, Joseph Keeter, Jr., Kylie Keeter, Racquel Calp and Sophia Forbes; maternal grandfather, George Livelsberger of Hanover; two brothers, Joseph Bair, Jr and his girlfriend Lisa of Abbottstown and Andrew Bair and his girlfriend Bobbi Bevins of Hanover; nieces and nephews, Kori Light and her husband Joshua and Shania and Gage Bair; and a longtime companion, Steven Forbes, Sr. of Hanover; his father, Roy Forbes of Chambersburg; his mother, Alice Snyder and her husband, Steve of Littlestown and his sister, Susan Forbes of Chambersburg. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Norma Wallick Livelsberger and paternal grandparents, Richard and Mildred Luckenbaugh Bair.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7pm Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc. and the funeral will follow at 7 pm with The Rev. Michael Osladil officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
