Suzanne B. Stambaugh

Suzanne B. Stambaugh, 76, of Littlestown, wife of James E. Stambaugh, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

Born on Saturday, January 11, 1947 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Ward F. and Evelyn Strevig Bollinger. A 1964 graduate of Eichelberger High School, she had worked as a hairdresser for Marian Wolff’s Beauty Salon and later was employed by Myer’s Meat Market for 20 years before retiring in 2004. Suzanne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time and care for her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by three children, Lonney L. Stambaugh and his wife, Laura, of Hanover, Troy J. Stambaugh and his companion, Jennifer Horne, of Spring Grove, and Bridget R. Lawrence and her husband, Robert, of Littlestown; five grandchildren, Ireland and Presley Lawrence, Corey Stambaugh and his wife, Krista, and Erica and Olivia Stambaugh; four great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Callie Stambaugh, and Brice and Brooklyn Topper; and three brothers, Ronald Bollinger and his wife, Susie, Dennis Bollinger and his wife, Sheila, and Jim Bollinger and his wife, Jean.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 24, 2023 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover with The Rev. Kevin Wartluft officiating.
