Services: A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Panebaker Funeral Home with the Rev. Karin Stork-Whitson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 on Tuesday evening at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover, PA.
Suzanne M. Bair, 63, of Hanover, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 12, 2008 at Hanover Hospital following a brief illness.Born in Hanover, PA on October 30, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Richard John and Louise Mathias Bair. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Bair and by a sister-in-law, Jane Bair. A 1962 graduate of South Western High School, she received her Bachelor’s degree in English Education from Millersville University. She returned to the South Western school district to teach English at the high school. She later went on to work for Sears and Roebuck for many years, advancing to a management position. Miss Bair also used these management skills as she obtained her real estate license. She most recently was employed with Hanover Direct in the sales department.Survivors include her five brothers; Phillip R. Bair and his wife Betty of Spring Grove, Norman L. Bair and his wife Pat of Hanover, William A. Bair of Carlisle, Thomas C. Bair and his wife Carol of York and Grant M. Bair and his wife Judy of Sedona, AZ; a sister-in-law, Patsy Bair; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that she cherished and loved as if they were her own children and grandchildren.
