Susan E. Stuffle, 70, of Biglerville, wife of James E. Stuffle, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Gettysburg.
Born on Saturday, January 27, 1951 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Donald E. and Roberta G. Wright McMaster. Susan attended South Western High School and was baptized into the Catholic faith. Having a creative eye, Susan enjoyed crafting and recreating projects. She enjoyed gardening and loved all of the flowers that she grew. She always had a smile, especially when she yelled “BINGO” and gave beautifully from her heart. A caregiver by nature, she watched over everyone’s kids and they all had a place at her “Doodle Ranch.”
In addition to her husband of 47 years, she is survived by a son, James J. Redding of York Springs; four daughters, Sherry M. King of Harrisburg, Manda S. Dodwell and her husband, Floyd of Clarksville, TN, Kristi L. Stuffle of Biglerville and Nicole R. Stuffle of Hanover; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Barbara Redding and her husband, Leonard of Abbottstown, Beverly Bahl and her husband, Joe of Gettysburg, Rose Dietz and her husband, Bill of Thomasville, Sally Keller and her husband, Dave of Gettysburg, Donald McMaster of Gettysburg, Lori Kent and her husband, Doug of East Berlin, Patrick McMaster and Thomas McMaster and his wife, Melissa of New Oxford and Tammy Sanders of East Berlin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Noah Stuffle; a son-in-law, Christopher King; sisters-in-law, Jane and Kathy McMaster.
A graveside service will be held at 12 pm on Friday, April 23, 2021 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hanover with Pastor Mark Chester officiating. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. In compliance with health and public safety directives, those attending will be required to wear masks, be socially distanced and attendance inside the funeral home will be limited.
