Susan Macmillan

Susan Miller MacMillan, 57, of Arlington, MA, died on Monday, December 28, 2015.Born on Tuesday, March 13, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA, Susan was a daughter of Ann Miller MacMillan and the late Bruce MacMillan. A 1980 graduate of Vanderbilt University, she received a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and thoroughly enjoyed her work as a talented artist who encouraged others to have an interest in art. She was later employed by Russell Cooperative Preschool in Watertown, MA. Susan enjoyed swimming and will be remembered for always putting others first. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 30 years, Samuel H. Tinsley; two children, Ryland and Grace Tinsley; and one sister, Mary Ann MacMillan.A memorial service will be held in Arlington at a later date.
