Sunny J. Blouse

Sunny James Blouse, 87, of Hanover, beloved husband of Mary L. Null Blouse, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Homewood at Plum Creek.

Born on Thursday, November 30, 1933 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Arvilla James and Mamie Viola Allison Blouse. Sunny was a 1951 graduate of Eichelberger High School and retired from the US Postal Service. He was an accomplished woodworker and was also active with Boy Scout Troop 110 at the First United Methodist Church in Hanover.

In addition to his wife of 64 years, survivors include two children, David Blouse of Hamilton, VA and Sharon Blouse of Hanover; a sister, Vivian Brady of Hanover; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 7, 2021 at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, with The Rev. Todd Christine officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 724 S. George Street, York, PA 17401 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
