Steven D. Ross, 38, of Hanover, died suddenly on Friday, January 19, 2018 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born on Tuesday, July 17, 1979 in Baltimore, he was a son of Elizabeth A. Meyer and Thomas S. Meyer, Sr. and the late Kenneth A. Ross. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents. Steven was a 1998 graduate of South Western High School and was employed by IWM International of Hanover. He was a Baltimore Ravens fan, loved to go fishing, but especially enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephew.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, is a sister, Jessie Gallagher and her husband, Jeremy, of Hanover; a brother, Thomas S. Meyer, Jr. and his fiancée, Emma Fretz, of Mantoloking, NJ; his niece and nephew, Adalynn and Declan Gallagher; and his girlfriend, Adrienne MacPherson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 am Thursday, January 25, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover with The Rev. Ryan M. Fischer celebrating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331 to help defray the final expenses.
