Steven F. Baublitz, 57, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Albert Einstien Medical Center, Philadelphia after an extended illness. He resided in New Oxford with brother, David Baublitz and Suki Smith.
Steven was born April 23, 1954, in Hanover, to the late Richard F. Baublitz, Sr., and the late Patricia (Bohr) Groft. Prior to his illness Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling, and trips to the beach. He was previously employed by Harley- Davidson. Steven served in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1978, and was honorably discharged with a rank of Sgt. E-5.
Survivors include a daughter, Nakita Fehntrich and her husband, Brian; two granddaughters, Shea and Madisyn Fehntrich and daughter, Natalie Baublitz; a sister, Cynthia A. Eberman and husband, James; brothers, Richard F. Baublitz, Jr., and companion, Anne Thomas, and David A. Baublitz; step-mother, Ruthanne Baublitz; step-father, Gerald Groft; step-sisters, Sharon Lukens, Vickie James, Missy Smith, Kathy Reed, and Kim Learn.
A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Cross Keys Fellowship, 785 East Berlin Road, New Oxford.
