Steven A. "Steve" Bjonnes

Steven A. “Steve” Bjonnes, 74, of East Berlin, beloved husband of Patricia Bjonnes, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Wellspan York Hospital.

Born on Thursday, June 29, 1950 in Staten Island, NY, he was a son of the late Arthur and Dolores Carlson Bjonnes. Steve graduated from Madison Township High School in Old Bridge, NJ and later received an associate degree in computer aided design from Catonsville Community College in Maryland. He was a computer draftsman in a variety of fields and in his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, camping, fly tying, fishing and simply being on the water. Moreover, his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to Pat, his wife of 50 years, Steve is survived by three children, Mitchell S. Bjonnes, Matthew A. (Stephanie) Bjonnes, and Amy V. (Jared) Gobrecht; nine grandchildren, Morgan, Gage, Breckin, Kaitlynn, Brady, Blake and Cooper Bjonnes, and Clair and Reid Gobrecht; two brothers, Eric (Brenda) Bjonnes and Neil (Ken) Bjonnes; a sister, Lisa (Chuck) Wistuba; and several nieces and nephews.

A private service is planned.
