Steven Russell "Horace" Hull, 58, of Hanover, died Friday, October 19, 2018 at Homewood at Plum Creek following a battle with cancer.
Born on March 15, 1960 in Hanover, Steve was a son of the late Horace L. and Anna K. McCleaf Hull. He was a 1978 graduate of Hanover High School and was employed by BAE Systems in York. He had previously been employed by Gene Latta Ford for 20 years and various body shops in the area. A mechanic gifted with his hands, he worked on street rods, and he restored classic cars, his favorite being his white Corvette.
He is survived by his brothers, James Hull and his wife, Jeanne of Walkersville, MD, and Gregory Hull of Lancaster; two nieces, Katrin Petz and Eliza Michalski; and an extended family of close friends.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, Steve has asked that support be made to All About The Kitties, a local rescue that helped him during his illness.
