Skylar Nicole Smith, 27, of Hanover, joined her loving grandfather in Heaven on Friday, December 11, 2015.
Born on Tuesday, August 9, 1988 in Towson, MD, she was the daughter of Steven K. and Tracey Gonsalves Smith of Lake Placid, FL. She was an employee of Schindler and was formerly employed by Snyders of Hanover.
Skylar was a certified EMT who loved the outdoors. She spent time playing minigolf, paintball and diskgolf and also enjoyed vacationing to the beach. Skylar was also a passionate online gamer. Her greatest love was for her son, Connor, who was the brightest star in her life.
In addition to her son and her parents, Skylar is survived by her brother, Kody Smith and his fiancee, Nicole Maggio, of Glassboro, NJ; maternal grandmother, Beverly Gonsalves of Sebring, FL and two nephews and a niece, who will be born within the next few weeks.
