Shirl Anderson, 67, of Hanover, died Monday, December 7, 2015 at Gettysburg Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born on Thursday, March 18, 1948 in Duquesne, she was the only child of the late Edwin R. and Helen Bashista Kopriver. She was employed for many years by Hanover House and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church. She loved cats and enjoyed playing Bingo on Monday nights at the church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kate Wimmer and her husband, Brian, of Oceanside, CA and Christine Touw and her husband, Steven, of Mechanicsburg.
The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 4 pm Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with a prayer service being said at 4 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
