Sharon G. Higgs, 69, of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care on Monday, February 29, 2016.
Born on Sunday, February 23, 1947 in Kopperston, WV, she was the daughter of Lois Baldwin Warren of Manchester, MD and the late William Warren, Sr. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Warren and William Warren, Jr. and a sister, Janet Yingling. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ron Higgs, Jr. of Hanover and Brad Higgs and his wife, Brenna of York; a granddaughter, Olivia Higgs; two sisters, Phyllis Thomas and her husband, George of New Oxford and Carol Self and her husband, Jim of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Roger Warren and his wife, Donna of Manchester, MD and Jack Warren of Bluefield, WV and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Michael Osladil officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Avenue, York, PA 17403.
