Sharon Bierly Dickie

Sharon Bierly-Dickie, 70, of Lakeland, FL died Sunday November 17, 2013 of complications from COPD.



Born on Saturday, August 21, 1943 in Waterbury CT, she was a daughter of the late Charles T. and Eleanor White Chappas and was also preceded in death by a sister, Carla Eierman and a brother, Charles ”Tony” Chappas. She attended South Western High School and was married in 1967 to Joseph W. Bierly, Jr. and was later remarried to Ronald Dickie in 2002.



Mrs. Dickie was a homemaker and was a former employee of AMP in the late 1970s. She also worked for Publix Grocery Store in Lakeland, FL and enjoyed spending time with her pets.



In addition to her loving husband, Ronald, she is survived by three children, Tony Cape, Holly Cook and Sherry Jo Bierly; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Cierra, Becky, Hannah, Sarah, Eric and Annamarie; and her dog Lilly.



The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Larry M. Estepp officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s (Dubs) Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held 2-3:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
