Scott A. Manger, 42, of Hanover, loving husband of Tiffany A. Staub Manger, died peacefully on Monday, April 30, 2018 at his home following a sudden illness.
Born on Monday, June 30, 1975 in Hanover, he was the son of Stephen B. and Barbara Wilt Manger of Hanover. A 1993 graduate of South Western High School, he was an avid rock and metal music fan and enjoyed going to concerts. Scott was a fan of the Detroit Lions and liked to go skateboarding from time to time. As a car enthusiast, he was a Honda fanatic, took great pleasure in driving and displaying his 1987 Fiero GT at various car shows, and was a member of the Mid-Atlantic Fiero Owners Association. He also enjoyed spending time with his Chihuahua, Estrella.
In addition to his wife of nearly eight years and his parents, he is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Lela Manger and maternal grandparents, Edward and Rita Wilt.
A funeral will be held at 10 am Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Joshua Rhone officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 6 to 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
