Sally Ann Noel

Sally Ann Noel, 65, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Hanover General Hospital.

Born on Tuesday, July 3, 1951 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Harold Joseph Noel and Sara Marie Klunk Noel. A 1971 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, she will be remembered as a fiercely loyal and dedicated employee of Hanover Direct and JC Penney. Sally was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and volunteered at Hanover General Hospital for many years. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, who especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Duane E. Brooks and his husband, Geoffrey, of Atlanta, GA and Alan J. Brooks and his wife, Cortney; a daughter, Andrea M. Reed and her husband, Keith, all of Hanover; five grandchildren, Hannah, Jack, Hailey, Lane and Reed; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Shearer and her husband, Mark, and Anita Bray of Kingston.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 pm Monday, December 26, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, celebrated by The Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 pm Monday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
