Sally A. Mummert

Sally A. Eisenberger Mummert, 72, of Hanover, went to be with the Lord accompanied by His angels on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.

Born on Monday, November 16, 1942 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Effie P. Whisler Eisenberger. She was a 1960 graduate of Eichelberger High School.

Mrs. Mummert was an employee of 25 years of the former Farmer’s Bank in Hanover. She served as a church secretary at Grace United Church of Christ and later retired from Meyer and Company Accounting Services. An active member of Grace United Church of Christ, she loved to do needlework and spend time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Michael H. Mummert; a daughter, Julie L. Owings and her husband, Chad, of Hanover; three grandchildren, Paige, Jacob and Coleman Owings; and a brother, Larry E. Eisenberger of Hanover.

The funeral will be held at 10 am Monday, April 27, 2015 at Grace United Church of Christ with The Rev. Dr. Bruce P. Bouchard officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at the Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
