Ruth Yealy, 83, of Hanover, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at her home.
Born on June 21, 1929 in McSherrystown, she was a daughter of the late Paul G. and Pauline A. Yingling Conrad and wife of 54 years to the late Francis G. “Flash” Yealy, who died in 2002. She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans and the McSherrystown Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #720.
She is survived by her son, F. Michael Yealy and his life partner, Linda Miller of Abbottstown; her sister, Jean M. Arigo of Hanover; three grandchildren, Jason, Matthew and Sara Yealy and five great-grandchildren, Jorden, Lauryn, Gabriel, Ethan and Nick.
A Memorial Mass will be said at 10 am on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with The Rev. Mgsr. James M. Lyons serving as celebrant. Burial will be held privately in Conewago Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
