Russell E. Kehr of Hanover died peacefully on November 21, 2011 at Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home Community at the age of 95.
He was a longtime and well known auctioneer, realtor and small business owner. During his career as an auctioneer, he served in leadership positions in the Pennsylvania and National Auctioneer Associations. Russell was an avid outdoor sportsman, who loved to hunt and fish in the Cross Forks, PA area.
Russell was born May 29, 1916 and was a son of the late Edward and Nina Rebert Kehr. He is survived by his two children, Donna Arigo of Hanover and Ted Kehr of Henniker, NH and their families. Russell is also survived by his brothers, Burnell Kehr, Earl Kehr and a sister, Gladys Wentz, all of the Hanover area.
