Roy D. “Buck” Harmon, III, 66, of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2023 at UPMC Hanover.
Born on Monday, September 10, 1956 in Baltimore, he was a son of the late Roy D. Harmon, Jr. and Lillian Small Harmon. Buck was a 1974 graduate of Franklin High School in Reisterstown, MD and attended Catonsville Community College. He was a self employed master carpenter specializing in historic restorations. Gifted with his hands, he was a “Jack of all trades”, who enjoyed refinishing furniture and antiques, which he also collected and sold. Known as “Pap” by his grandchildren, he truly loved spending time with them.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Harmon; a son, Ryan Harmon and his companion, Tiffany Langkam; a daughter, Courtney Kaltrider and her husband, Shawn; three grandchildren, Austin Kaltrider, Carter Harmon and Ella Kaltrider; a brother, Steve Harmon; a sister, Lynn Harmon; and a large extended family.
A private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
