Ronald A. Foreman
Ronald Ambrose Foreman, 66, of Hanover, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his home. Ron was the husband of Kathleen A. (George) Foreman.
Born July 19, 1946, in Baltimore, MD., he was the son of William and Zola (Hess) Foreman of Taneytown, Maryland.
Ron ran his own business in the Hanover area, Foreman Electric, for over twenty years. He worked for the Electrical Union of Harrisburg thereafter. Later in life he was a farmer, gardener, and furniture builder. As a young man he traveled to Alaska to hunt big game and continued his love of the area for the rest of his life.
He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie A. Sellers and her husband, Robert of Fayetteville; a son, Michael A. Foreman and his wife, Stacy of Boiling Springs; two grandchildren, Riley and Jack Foreman; two brothers, Leo Foreman and his wife, Anna Mae of Spring Grove, and John Foreman of Littlestown; and a sister, Virginia B. Cross of Shrewsbury. He was predeceased by brothers Robert and Frank Foreman and sister-in-law, Michelle Foreman.
The family wishes to thank Ron's neighbors and friends for their years of loving care during his long illness.
A gathering of friends will be held from 4 to 6 pm Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with a memorial service to remember his life being held at 5 pm.
