Ronald D. Bostian, 62, of Hanover, husband of Jan Beckner Bostian, entered into God’s eternal care Friday, February 20, 2009 at his home.Born March 10, 1946 in Union Bridge, MD, he was a son of Catherine H. Bostian of Westminster, MD and the late Robert Bostian. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Bostian.Mr. Bostian was a retired employee of LIU, where he worked for 30 years. He was employed part-time by Lowe’s in Hanover and operated his own business, Bostian Service, repairing computers. He served with the United States Air Force.Surviving, in addition to his wife of nearly 15 years and his mother, are his daughters, Michelle Shaffer Smith of York, Vicky Higgins and her husband Bill of Hanover, and Karen Steich and her husband Jason of Abbottstown; two grandsons, Dillon and Brady Higgins and a sister, Beverly Bostian of Westminster, MD.
