Ronald L. Albright

Ronald L. “Ronnie” Albright, 76, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his home.

Born on Tuesday, July 17, 1945, he was the son of the late William Henry and Elsie Marie Leiphart Albright. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen (Yeagy) Albright, who passed in 2009; and a sister Gloriadean Free.

Ronald was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War as an aircraft mechanic and a 1963 graduate of South Western High School. He was employed by Leister Furniture until his retirement. Ronald was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, enjoyed gardening, cooking, roller skating, traveling, and bicycling. He loved spending his Saturdays at the Hanover Market.

Surviving him are a nephew, Michael A. Yeagy and his wife, Carol, of Dillsburg; many other nieces and nephews; and his companion, Marie Costella, of Hanover.

A funeral will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at Trinity United Church of Christ at 3 PM with the Rev. Dr. Kim Blocher officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date.
