Rodney Storm

Rodney Storm, 88, of Hanover, passed away peacefully and was reunited with his beloved wife, Larue Storm, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Pappus House.

Born on Saturday, July 18, 1936 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Claude C. Storm and Beatrice Viola Beck Storm. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Larue Warner Storm, who died February 28, 2025; and his grandson, Michael Jacobs. Rodney was a parts manager for L&M Pontiac and Conewago Contractors. A jokester at heart, Rodney had a remarkable ability to lighten the mood, always sharing a laugh with friends and family. As a lifetime member of both the McSherrystown Fish & Game and the Green Springs Rod & Gun Club, Rodney found great joy in hunting in Potter County and enjoyed spending time fishing and camping in the great outdoors. Rodney was also a voting member of the NRA. His adventures took him and his wife Larue across every state in the U.S., with the exception of Hawaii, creating cherished memories together. He leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, adventure, and the love of the outdoors. Rodney will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his spirit will undoubtedly linger in the hearts of many.

Surviving are his four children, Randy Storm, Ricky Storm and his wife, Denise, Regina Jacobs and her husband, Chris, and Rhonda Eichelberger; three grandchildren, Melissa Nitchman and her husband, John, Trish Baker and her husband, Robert, and Amanda Putman and her husband, Chad; four great grandchildren, Guy, Bryce, and Lane Nitchman, and Megan Baker; and his sister, Jacqueline Negley.
