Rodman L. Moul, 75, of Hanover, husband of Peggy Small Moul, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Hanover Hall following a period of declining health.
Born on November 30, 1934 in Abbottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Clayton and Martha Hoffman Moul. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Veronica “Ronnie” Moul, who died in 2009 and a sister Sue Kerr.
A machinist by trade, he was employed by the Naval Ordnance Plant which later became AMF, before retiring in 1997 from KBA Motter Corporation. He enjoyed trying his luck with horse racing, collecting monkeys and traveling on short trips around the country.
In addition to his wife of 54 years, he is survived by three daughters, Sandra Moul, Rebecca Naill of Hanover and Elaine Moul of Spring Grove; three sons, Kenneth Moul of Hanover, Timothy Moul of Texas and Jeffrey Moul and his wife, Alice, of Tennessee; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Florence Lenhart of Lancaster and Jane Hubert of York.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 25, 2010 at Annunciation B.V.M. Church Cemetery with The Rev. John A. Szada, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6 to 8 pm Sunday evening at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
