Services: A Mass to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday morning at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 6084 W. Canal Road, Abbottstown.
Visitation: Viewings will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover with recitation of the rosary at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. friday morning at the church.
Roberta G. Bobbie McMaster, 74, of Gettysburg, formerly of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care 5:08 A.M. Tuesday morning, May 15, 2007 at her home. She was the loving wife of Donald E. McMaster to whom she was married over 56 years. Born in Hanover on August 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Agnes Runk Wright. Bobbie's former supervisor said of her that she was a very faithful, valuable and well liked employee at Keystone Wire Cloth. Bobbie retired as a Loom Operator in 1987 after 37 years of service and was a member of Keystone's Silver Key Club. She was also a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbottstown, was a Past President of the Parkville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Hanover and a member of the Mother of Twins Club. All who knew Bobbie will remember her as a gentle, kind and thoughtful person. But most of all, she will be remembered as a wonderful, patient and caring mother who will be greatly missed by her 10 children Susan Stuffle of New Oxford, Barbara Redding of Abbottstown, Beverly Bahl of Thomasville, Rose Dietz of Dover, Sally Keller of Gettysburg, Donald McMaster of Gettysburg, Lori Kent of East Berlin, Patrick McMaster of New Oxford, Thomas McMaster of Hanover, Tammy Sanders of Gettysburg, 37 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren, 3 sisters Katherine Morin, Maybelle Woodward, Judy Wright all of Hanover, 5 brothers Nevin Wright of York Springs, Richard Wright of York Springs, Melvin Wright of Hanover, Donald Wright of Mechanicsburg, and James Wright of Green Springs. She was preceded in death by a brother William Wright. A Mass to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday morning at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 6084 W. Canal Road, Abbottstown. Viewings will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover with recitation of the rosary at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. friday morning at the church. The Rev. Michael E. Messner will serve as Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hanover. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice, 440 N. Madison St., Hanover, PA 17331. Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandsons James Redding, Russell McMaster, Barron Finneyfrock, Eric Keller, Derek Kuhn and Adam Lippy. A memorial
