Robert C. Ramsburg
Robert Christopher Ramsburg, 23, of Hanover, passed through the gates into Shangri-la on Saturday, July 31, 2011 in Philadelphia, PA.
Born on December 22, 1987, he was the son of Robin Lee Sipe of Hanover and Robert Carvil Demmitt of York. He was a loving dad, fantastic brother and uncle, a wonderful son and a great friend. Known as Bo, Rob, and Redd, he was loved by many and will be greatly missed. MCL
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Nathen Altland of York Springs; two sisters, Melody A. Ramsburg of Hanover and April M. Shelton of East Berlin; his brother, Adam P. Sipe of Hanover; his aunt, T.J. Satterfield; his cousins, Brian and Bobbie Johnson, all of Oklahoma; his step-sister, several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. "Whoop-Whoop"
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 5 pm on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Wirt Park in Hanover. Friends are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on and share memories during the service.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to a memorial fund that will provide future support for his son, the “Nathen Altland Fund” c/o Melody Ramsburg, 319 High Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
