Robert P. "Bob" Slaybaugh

Robert P. “Bob” Slaybaugh, 71, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at UPMC Hanover Hospital.

Born on Tuesday, June 2, 1953 in Gloucestershire, England, he was a son of the late Harold L. Slaybaugh and Maureen Turner Slaybaugh Herman and was a 1971 graduate of Hanover High School. Throughout his working career, Bob embraced the craftsmanship of stonemasonry, a trade that allowed him to showcase his remarkable skills and his unwavering work ethic. He was fueled by a profound passion for cars and motorcycles. His fascination with these machines went beyond mere interest; it was a deep-seated enthusiasm that inspired him to dedicate countless hours to learning about them. His deep appreciation for these machines was matched only by his love for cats.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Michelle Slaybaugh Unkow and her husband, Alexsander; two grandchildren, Allie and Michael Unkow; and a brother, Richard Herman.

A private service will be held.
