Richard Frazer Smith

Richard Frazer Smith, 85, of Hanover, beloved husband of Shirley Jocelyn Smith, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 11, 2010 at home with his family by his side.



Born November 15, 1924 in Red Bluff, CA, he was a son of the late Donald M. and Margaret Frazer Smith. He was Vice President of Wilson & Company in Chicago, IL, and had served with the US Navy during World War II in the South Pacific aboard the USS Viburnum.



Mr. Smith was a volunteer with Gettysburg National Park for several years, and was a member of the World War II Net Tenders group. He was a devoted family man, who will be greatly missed by his loving family.



Surviving, in addition to his wife of 63 years, is a daughter, Jocelyn Ann Hubbard and her husband, George, of Hanover; a son, Richard Noel Smith and his wife, Debra, of Gettysburg; four grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
