Richard Orndorff

Richard “Rick” Orndorff, 74, of Hanover, son of the late Nevin and Mary Devine Orndorff, died on Monday, November 19, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.
Rick attended Eichelberger High School and later joined the US Marine Corps in 1962, being honorably discharged in 1966. He retired from ESAB Welding and Cutting Products in 2006.
During his early years, he was involved with a dirt track sprint car racing team. Rick later enjoyed spending time with his adventurous friends on scuba diving vacations in various places, mostly in the Caribbean. For 50 years, he seriously studied the Biblical scriptures and endeavored to perfect his long time interest in photography.
Following cremation, burial will be held privately. No services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
