Richard A. "Rick" Few Jr.
Rick Few, Jr., 65, of New Oxford, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg.
Born on Sunday, July 17, 1955 in Frederick, MD, he was a son of the late Richard E. Few, Sr. and Georgetta Mae Donnelly Few. Rick was a hard working, self employed roofing contractor and proudly served with the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and watching western movies and television shows.
Survivors include his daughter, Brandy Markel and her husband, Jason, of New Oxford; two brothers, Joseph Few of Hagerstown, MD and James Few, Sr. of Gettysburg; four sisters, Barbara May, Anita Cool and her husband, Randy, all of Emmitsburg, MD, Debra Shaffer of Hagerstown, MD and Judy Williams of Raphine, VA; three grandsons, Jonathon Arentz, Damon Few and Daniel Edsall, all of New Oxford; and many nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held.
